Stop Human Trafficking!
Human Trafficking is a crime that involves the exploitation of people, especially women and children. In Jamaica, females are largely victims of sexual exploitation, while males are largely victims of labour exploitation. The modus operandi of traffickers has evolved in the face of adversities such as the Covid-19 pandemic. The most common types of Trafficking in Persons being observed locally include sexual exploitation, labour exploitation, child forced begging and child domestic servitude. This Human Trafficking E-Learning Course is an important addition to the country’s anti-trafficking toolkit.
